    The “magic workout” sounds like a useful variation on the methodology of Adam Zickerman, Jeff Hahn and Doug McGuff. They don’t advocate daily workouts, and don’t advocate resting between sets, but the sessions are very short, from 10 to 15 minutes, and are to muscle failure. All three have “no equipment” variations available.

    The problem with ripping out your lawn and planting a garden or native plants is that your neighbors will be all over you about “destroying the beauty of the neighborhood” unless you get them on board, which will be very difficult. They can easily get an injunction against you, especially if your area is part of a homeowners’ association.
