You suggested that during rotten cold weather that getting some time on a treadmill would not go amiss. When I played your podcast, I had started doing just that. Ordinarily I prefer outdoor walking, but here in Northern Illinois, I can’t always do that. We have had some dreadful cold and snowy weather already.

I was used to some interval walking and sprinting (kind of) stairs, I ramped the incline up to 11% and do 2 minutes brisk and 2 slower until I have 1/2 hour in on the local “Anytime Fitness” treadmill. I really feel good and sweaty after that. I now need to figure out how to do some sprinting on these machines. 65 YO woman, Paleo for 2 years and now I want to try some heavy lifting, if I can find someone to help me. I have some issue with joints but also bone thinning so I need to do the exercise that helps build bones. My doc said the joint pain may have to be balanced out with the bone building. But, I don’t like limping around while building bone. Otherwise I am super healthy for my age. My younger siblings accuse me of “getting all the good genes”. LOL.

Thanks for your interesting and entertaining podcasts, guys. Continued success to you both in 2014.

        Hey dr Champ,

So I was so glad you are coming to NY for medical conference to defend Paleo, however, I found out through their website that only “trade professional” can attend this conference. so does this mean the general public cannot go?

I’m amazed, I have to admit. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both equally
educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the
head. The problem is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about.
Now i’m very happy that I came across this during my search for something relating to this.
